In march, not only do you get to work out your voice over skills with an industry pro, but you also get the opportunity to work with Special Guest Director, Fred Tatasciore.  A monolith of vocal power, Fred Tatasciore will show you the in ins and outs of creating compelling characters for animation and interactive projects. He will bring with him his perspective from creating literally hundreds of characters spanning dozens of genres and properties.  Fred will be in session on  Monday, March 28th.

About Fred:



Fred Tatasciore has a VO resume the length of your arm and has voiced hundreds of characters for Animation,  TV, and Film.  His work spans multiple genres and styles including: The Cleveland Show, Wolverine and the X-Men, 9,  Batman: the Brave and the Bold, The Penguins of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Disney’s Tangled,  The Family Guy, Star Wars: the Clone Wars and more.  





One of the hardest working talents in show business, Fred can also be heard on innumerable video games and interactive projects including:  God of War, Star wars: The Force Unleashed II, Mass Effect 2, Assassins Creed 2 and others.

Essentials of Voice Over
Burbank, CA, Thursdays in March & April: March 3, 10, 17,  24, 31 & April 7th, 2011

What does it take to do voice over? Now you can learn the foundational skills for mastering the mic from industry pro, Mick Wingert in a fun, hands-on, practical course designed specifically to work the essentials of mastering VO.

 In this six-week course you’ll cover:

Mechanics and Logistics
Learn the basic ins and outs of a booth and how to manage yourself while in one. Work up-close and personal with the microphone and a scene partner as you learn how to navigate the voice actor’s workspace.

Commercial Copy
From reading with emphasis to commercial copy text analysis to knowing your audience, get a handle on what makes the elusive but profitable “Retail read” what it is.

Creating Characters
Inside every great voice over performer is an actor. Learn the basic styles and applications for performing on mic and discover the characters inside you who are waiting to get out.

Space is limited to 11 students for the 6-week course.
