The people who entertain and inform America proudly congratulate the 2010 inductees into the National Radio Hall of Fame. This year’s honorees were selected from a national balloting process and include AFTRA members Carl Kasell and Larry King.
Kasell’s career in radio spans more than 50 years and is best known for his broadcasting work with AFTRA Signatory National Public Radio.
In 2007, King also celebrated his 50th year in broadcasting and recently announced he will be retiring at the end of 2010.

The induction ceremony will take place in Chicago on Saturday Nov. 6 and features AFTRA members Reba McEntire, Billy Corgan and Bob Edwards as guest presenters. AFTRA member Jim Bohannon will co-host the evening. Bohannon was also inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2003.
