Big Sunday Weekend 2010

January 5, 2010
Hi everyone:
Happy New Year!
Big Sunday Weekend 2010 is just 120 days away – Yikes!
We’d love your help. If you want to get involved, here’s a few great ways:
  • The Project Application is now available on our homepage. Just click on the yellow “post-it” note to learn everything your nonprofit, school or agency needs to do to request a project for Big Sunday 2010. We’re doing all kinds of projects, big and small, all over Southern California. (The application is easy to fill out, too – really!)
  • Get involved: We’re having informational meetings throughout January for anyone who wants to get involved in Big Sunday. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re a volunteer wanting to help, a nonprofit needing help, or representing a school, faith group, business, club or other group, we’d love to have you. There’s no obligation, and we’re here to answer any questions, or hear your suggestions.

    Here’s the schedule:
    • Orange County: Wednesday, January 6 at 7:00 p.m. at University Synagogue in Irvine. RSVP and get directions.

    • Los Angeles: Sunday, January 10 at 3:00 p.m. at the Big Sunday office in Hancock Park. RSVP and get directions.

    • Santa Monica: Thursday, January 14 at 7:00 p.m. at a private residence. RSVP and get directions.

    • Encino: Thursday, January 21 at 7:00 p.m. at a private residence. RSVP and get directions.
Anyone want to host in the San Gabriel Valley, the Inland Empire, or Ventura County? Let us know!

  • Thanks to everyone who helped our nonprofit partners in so many ways over the holidays. Keep checking our homepage, our calendar and our Facebook page to see more great ways that you can help throughout the year.
Thanks as always –
