NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS
FOR LOS ANGELES DIVERSITY TALENT SHOWCASE
Upcoming Pilots and Casting project
Deadline for Submissions is Friday, July 10


As part of our ongoing effort to expand job opportunities for AFTRA members of color, people with disabilities, women and seniors, we team up with network television casting offices to produce showcases featuring promising actors.

The Disney ABC Television Group’s Casting Project will hold auditions for their upcoming ABC Talent Showcase, in an ongoing effort to discover and develop culturally and ethnically diverse talent and actors with disabilities. ABC’s Casting Project has established an industry standard in creating opportunities for talent that might otherwise go unnoticed, with the majority of participants being given the chance to audition for a variety of ABC (and other networks’) pilots and ongoing programming. All are welcome to submit.
WHERE: Los Angeles
WHO: Participants must be at least 18 years old. Previous acting experience/training is required of all, but professional representation is not necessary.
HOW: ABC will contact selected actors to schedule an audition.
NO PHONE CALLS TO ABC.
WHEN: DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, JULY 10, 2009 (Please note the correct day)

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING:
1. SUBMIT ONE PICTURE AND RESUME. NO TAPES.
2. DO NOT DOUBLE SUBMIT IF ALREADY SUBMITTED THROUGH SAG OR OTHER ENTITIES.
3. NO ELECTRONIC/E-MAIL SUBMISSIONS, ONLY HARD COPIES.
4. NO PHONE CALLS TO ABC.
5. PLEASE NOTE DEADLINES. NO SUBMISSION WILL BE ACCEPTED PAST CUT-OFF DATE.
